We have fullfilled the wishes of over 80 DCFS children and supplied our local food panty and animal shelters with needed items. We appreciate your tremendous generosity for the past 10 years and we will continue to give back to our communities each year.

What are Giving Trees?

Each holiday season, Green View teams up with organizations in Illinois to help children and animals.

Our Garden Centers in Dunlap and Springfield feature both a “Giving Tree” and “Pets in Need Tree,” giving the public an opportunity to purchase gifts for underprivileged children and support a local animal shelter.

Green View works closely with the Department of Children and Family Services to identify the needs or wants of local children.

Additionally, you can donate to the animals of the Animal Recycling Kennel in Lacon, Illinois, or the Animal Protective League of Springfield and Sangamon County.

Just by filfulling a wish list you can help those in need during the holiday season. Any items that you can donate from our paper ornaments will help these organizations.

If you take an ornament please give your name and phone number, as well as the child’s name, to the front desk. You will be responsible for providing the gifts on the ornament that you have chosen. We make arrangements for delivery of the gifts.
