Dave’s journey into the landscaping industry began early, sparked by a seventh-grade leaf collection project that introduced him to forestry and the natural world. That initial experience grew into a lifelong passion, leading him to earn a degree in forestry and become an ISA Certified Arborist. From that point forward, his career has been rooted in a deep appreciation for the outdoors and a commitment to understanding how landscapes function and thrive.

With over 33 years at Green View, Dave brings an exceptional depth of experience and leadership to his role. Throughout his career, he has developed a strong passion for teaching and mentoring others. He takes pride in helping team members grow, guiding both account managers and field staff to see the bigger picture and work together with purpose. Inspired by his father’s background in coaching and teaching, Dave has carried that same mindset into his own leadership style.

Early in his career, Dave was equally committed to learning from the best in the industry. He attended seminars led by top landscape architects, gaining exposure to high-level design principles and broadening his understanding of how thoughtful planning shapes exceptional outdoor spaces. That foundation continues to influence his approach today, blending technical expertise with a strong appreciation for design.
