Justin’s path into the landscaping industry was shaped early on through hands-on experience and a deep connection to the outdoors. Growing up around residential jobsites, with a father in plumbing and heating and an uncle who was a home builder, he developed an appreciation for craftsmanship, problem-solving, and how different elements come together to create a finished product. At the same time, he spent much of his free time outdoors hunting, fishing, and golfing, which naturally led him toward a career that combined both skill and environment. Landscaping ultimately became the perfect fit, offering a balance of physical work, creativity, and connection to the outdoors.

Justin first joined Green View in 1999 as a laborer shortly after college, where he gained valuable field experience and developed a strong understanding of installation and construction practices. After several years with the company, he went on to start his own business, further expanding his expertise in both operations and client relationships. In 2025, he returned to Green View to help grow the Champaign branch, bringing with him a well-rounded perspective and reconnecting with many long-tenured team members. That return has allowed him to combine past experience with a renewed focus on delivering high-quality landscape solutions.

He especially enjoys designing and building outdoor living spaces, where he can take a client’s ideas and turn them into functional, welcoming environments. Justin believes that every successful project starts with a comprehensive design for the entire property, creating a clear roadmap that ensures all elements work together cohesively over time. By approaching each project with both big-picture thinking and attention to detail, he helps clients feel confident in both the process and the outcome.

For Justin, success is defined by exceeding expectations. He values the collaborative nature of working through design and estimating with clients, taking the time to understand their goals and guide them toward the best solutions for their space.
