Kinser’s path into the landscaping industry was rooted in a lifelong connection to the outdoors. Originally pursuing a career as a conservation officer, his journey evolved through agriculture, horticulture, and ultimately arboriculture, where he discovered a true passion for plant life. Along the way, strong mentorship and hands-on experience helped shape his expertise, leading him to become an ISA Certified Arborist and deepen his knowledge through his horticulture studies at Illinois State.

Now in his second year with Green View, Kinser brings both technical knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for educating clients. He especially enjoys the customer-facing side of his role, working with homeowners who share a passion for their landscapes and want to better understand how to care for them. Whether discussing plant selection, long-term planning, or the role of native species, he takes pride in helping clients make informed decisions that will benefit their properties for years to come.

Kinser has a particular interest in trees, native plantings, and prairie restoration work. He values landscapes that are not only beautiful, but also sustainable and well-suited to their environment. His approach emphasizes planning for the future, encouraging clients to think about how their landscape will grow over time and how much ongoing maintenance they want to take on themselves.

For Kinser, a successful project comes down to clear communication and a seamless experience. When a project is well-coordinated and the client feels confident throughout the process, it creates a result that is both functional and rewarding.
